Carl Bronson, Mark Lightcap (Acetone) and Steve Goodfriend (Radar Brothers) perform as the Dick Slessig Combo. The group creates dreamy instrumental arrangements of songs from the late '60's through the early '70's. On this disc they produce a high desert evening quiet drift of the Jimmy Webb classic "Wichita Lineman" that clocks in at a calming 43 minutes. Also on this disc is a ghostly arrangement of "Guinnevere" by David Crosby. This disc is excellent.
The Dick Slessig Combo has played in art and music contexts, opening up exhibitions as well as for groups like Matmos, in the United States as well as Europe. Greil Marcus described his discovery of the Combo in one of his Salon Top 10 lists a few years back:

(cuz as humans, we will take less quality as long as it's faster! meaning the technology not the camera man)
Hoping to soon get something from San Francisco Show. There is one clip of "Smokey" I have seen on Acetone's Facebook....
If anyone has anything they would like to share from these shows or from the past, we will post here.
Lemme know in comments. I check them every year or so! sometimes more.
For those curious, the current few shows we have done as Acetone are a limited deal. Even though it has been sounding great and a hell of a blast, it just would not be right to keep going because of a few reasons. Main reason being, Acetone is Mark, Richie and Steve.
That being said, the radness being created with Mark, Senon, Jason and Steve must not stop. We have been playing together every now and then for a few years and have a good chemistry together.
We have also quite a stock of recorded material as this combo sans nombre.
As soon as we get our shit together, there will be product.
As blogger is not high on the list of places to check, see the fan run Facebook or try Mark Lightcap Facebook as well.
Fuckin A. What a great year.
Thank you Sam Sweet.(please see Sam's series "All night Menu". really great stuff. Even if you dont care about Los Angeles)
NONE of this would have come around without your interest and determination. ( not to mention skill)
Also, Thank you Matt and all of you at Light In THe Attic Records!
Never ever thought we could be label mates with Kris Kristofferson, Link Wray and Barbra Lynn.

A one off show put together by the surviving members of Acetone with good friends Jason Yates, Senon Williams (Dengue Fever, Radar Bros) Jim Putnam (Radar Bros), Hope Sandoval, along with Light In The Attic Records help to celebrate the release of the Lp Acetone Anthology.
Here is a fan video of a beautiful part of an emotional night in all sorts of ways. Happiness, sadness, regret, beauty, loss and hope are emotions that did the tour in my personal noodle. It was certainly a night I will never forget.
So many people I love and respect were there but i am sorry for those that could not be there.
